After the King of Daredevils, Evel Knievel, broke his back at his European premiere, he tapped Gary Davis to continue the tour in his place. The young Hollywood stuntman packed up his favorite wheel and headed to London, where he trained Knievel's family to perform. The show flopped without its headlining namesake. Gary Davis returned stateside moved to Montana in order to rehabilitate Knievel back onto his motorcycle and his next adventures, which included an attempt to break a world's record in the same year.
