Toyota thought THIS would stop me from adding 37s!?

When you peek under the wheel well of the new 2022 Toyota Tundra you will find there's a large chunk of metal that seems to have been intentionally placed there by Toyota engineers to prevent Tundra owners from adding larger sized tires! In this episode I load up my 5 Relation Race Wheel RR7 wheels and made by way to the Overland Garage in Bremerton Washington to begin installing a Dobinson's 3.56 inch lift kit. After the Rear Landcruiser coils and Dobinson's adjustable reservoir shocks were installed we mounted up some beefy 37 inch Bfgoodrich ko2 tires. But there's no way these large tires were going to fit without doing some cutting. so we broke out the air tools and began hacking away this seemingly useless metal protrusion that Toyota put on the Tundra. Do you think cutting this chunk off will void the warranty?
Heres my build list so far if youre looking to do the same to your 2022 Tundra.
