HUSKY Tries on Dog Booties for the First Time! (She’s not happy about it!)

I made Skaya try on some dog booties to see her reaction! It was her first time wearing these little boots, and I’m not sure she was too pleased! 😅
Siberian Huskies and other sled dogs don’t necessarily have to wear dog booties (boots) when they’re out on a trail, but when it’s icy and gritty like it is over here, it’s a lot safer for their paws!
Since Skaya wanted to try out sled dog life, I thought I’d give her a little taste by letting her try on the booties indoors first. I made sure to use a lot of treats, praise and positive reinforcement for this first experience (and hopefully this also gives you an idea of how to teach your dog to get used to wearing this kind of apparel!)
Do you think Skaya should wear booties again? And maybe go on a real sled dog trail, next time
