Sheriff Bob Johnson, Santa Rosa County, put forward invitations to his constituents, shooting lessons so they "will save the tax payers money" by being able to shoot better. This was in response to the capture of a person who burglarized several homes in the area. He was shot at by a homeowner. Of course this generated backlash and Johnson did not back down.
