God of War #09 – I’m Your Monster No Longer

The Magic Chisel lay before us, but not before Thor’s sons, Magni and Modi stand in our way. An intense battle, and Kratos fells one before the other runs away. However, an enraged Atreus finds his illness returning after the battle, yet refuses to concede to it, insisting on continuing.

Beneath the Temple, Modi returns ambushing us, and after driving him away, Atreus is overcome. Returning to Freya, she vows to do what she can, but requires something, and the only way to obtain what is necessary is for Kratos to call upon his past, something he had tried to keep hidden for so long.

With God of War – Ragnarok coming in just a few short weeks, it’s time to get good again and dive back into the beginning of Kratos and Atreus’ journey to work off any rusty play style I currently have.

God of War was developed by Santa Monica Studio in 2018 and was a Playstation Exclusive until it was ported over to PC in 2022. A fantastic game showing how former God of War Kratos has changed since the events of his previous game and is adapting to his new role as sole parent to Atreus as they journey to the highest peaks in the land to fulfill his late wife’s final wishes
