It's known as "Linnea Quigley's lost film" because it's taken nearly forty years for it to see the light of day. Shot back in the 1980s, HEARTLAND OF DARKNESS has followed a convoluted path to completion, and it offers up a time capsule. This isn't made to look like the 80s. This movie IS the 80s, made during the height of the "Satanic Panic."

Director Eric Swelstad joins us to talk about the journey.
