Faust Checho dives into Mexico’s mysterious cave of crystals located 984 feet below the Sierra de Neica Mountains in Chihuahua Mexico.

With the mix of magma and mineral water these incredible crystals formed over thousands of years until discovered by a mining company in April of 2000 when the Peñoles Mining Company drained the natural mineral pools.

After several miners died the mining company would subsequently close the mine and forever submerge the crystals in history.
