The Truth About Addiction

This is a very controversial topic. Many people believe that they are victims of a disease when they are addicts. In this video I talk about how it is absolutely not a disease, it is a choice. If it were a disease, it would be the only disease we chose to have and the only disease we can walk away from at any time.
By no means am I downplaying the severity of addiction. I spent 15 years as an addict myself, but it was my choice to live in that sinful life and it is my choice every single day to continue to stay focused on God and living free of my addiction.
Addiction is merely the result of living in sin. There is freedom. The choice is yours.
