Situation in the #Ugledar Sector until 15:00 on 30 Oct 2022⚡️

▪️ Units of the Pacific Fleet Marines, together with the DPR OBTF and the special forces of the Ministry of State Security, in an offensive against Ukrainian positions in the village of #Pavlovka, managed to penetrate 3.5 km deep into the AFU defences and reach the southern outskirts of #Pavlovka.

As a result, Russian fighters destroyed 28 AFU strongholds and positions and over 70 enemy personnel, not counting the wounded. Russian Forces are now clearing the settlement.

▪️ In parallel, the servicemen of the Pacific Fleet have gained a foothold on the dominant heights in the area south of the #Novomikhailovka village, killing 20 AFU personnel.

▪️ Army helicopters and artillery of the Russian Forces shelled Ukrainian strongholds on a massive scale to support the advancing Russian units. More than 400 targets were hit in 24 hours.

▪️ The AFU command is taking measures to contain the advance of Russian troops by the use of tactical and army aviation. A Buk SAM system of the Russian Forces hit a Mi-8 helicopter near #Konstantinovka, while the Igla MANPADS operator of the Pacific Fleet Marine Corps shot down an AFU SU-25 over #Nikolskoye.

▪️ Additional units of the AFU 68th Jager Brigade have been moved to the vicinity of #Bogoyavlenka and #Prechistovka. A SRG of the 68th Brigade was deployed to the #Yegorovka area to carry out sabotage attempts in the rear of the Russian army.

🩸 Given the pace of advancement of Russian Group V fighters, the capture of #Pavlovka will soon be completed and #Ugledar will be taken in a semicircle. The Russian Forces will regain the positions lost in the summer.

If the Ukrainian formations are not reinforced, Russian troops will very soon reach #Vodyanoye and the Yuzhno-Ukrainskaya mine.

In such a case, the AFU will have to withdraw and form defences on the #Uspenka - #Konstantinovka line along the Sukhiye Yaly river.

This, in turn, would endanger the supply of the AFU Donetsk grouping along the #Zaporozhye - #Donetsk highway.
