I Only Ate Meat For 90 Days…Here’s What Happened

So I first heard about the Carnivore Diet back in 2017 on The Joe Rogan Experience Podcast with Dr Shawn Baker who'd been doing the diet for a number of years to help with athletic performance. Then after that I heard about the incredible success Mikhalia Peterson had eating an all meat diet to heal her severe autoimmune disease, along with her father Dr Jordan Peterson. Now I've suffered from a number of autoimmune and gut issues which triggered many food intolerances for quite a few years now but I only tried strict carnivore for a week or 2 at a time before slipping back into old patterns...until now. I finally built the discipline to do an all meat diet for 90 days and now there is no looking back. I'm still not 100% but I'm much better than I use to be and slowly healing my body to what I believe will be at full health in no time.

On this journey I found a number of fantastic Carnivore practitioners and advocates such as Dr Anthony Chaffee, Dr Ken Berry, Dr Lisa Wiedeman, Nutrition with Judy and many, many more. I had settled with Dr Paul Saladinos method of an "animal based" diet (which is meat, fruit, honey and raw dairy) over the past many months but still was experiencing symptom flare ups. For some of us "animal based" can work, but for others we need to go that extra mile.
