📖 🗣 ⚡️ 💕 Romans 5:3-5 says “And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” When it comes to turning around our marriages we often get it backwards. We want to feel the hope first before we begin to persevere in the work it takes to see the change we need to see. We also often fail to see that God wants to build our individual character, as well as the integrity of our marriage, through the pressing. At the end of the process is the God-kind of hope that never disappoints and always delivers. His hope empowers us to handle the next trial in an even stronger way. We have the Holy Spirit and His love to lean on every step of the way.
