In this video, I discuss the US Attorney General's report and recommendation on making it easier to seize digital assets like Bitcoin, as well as the setting up of a new bureaucracy called the DAC Network.

Under civil forfeiture, law enforcement or government agencies can seize your assets, even if you have not been accused or convicted of a crime. This latest report from the AG wants to expand these powers to include digital assets in amounts over $500,000.

The US government has a strong motivation to close exits from fiat, as it seeks to inflate its way out of debt. FDR confiscated Americans' gold back in 1933, and it appears that the US government wants expanded powers to be able to do the same to Bitcoin.

If you hold your own private keys, no one can seize your Bitcoin.
