Bunk beds on Air New Zealand soon! 🇳🇿

Air New Zealand has announced its newest cabin experience. Its business class products will feature the latest in business class seat developments. Air New Zealand calls these seats ‘nests’. And the nests in the middle can open their partition to create one big nest. I guess. Some of the business class seats will also have full closing doors.

The premium economy seats with the airline will have more privacy than before, however you are still seated next to someone. According to the airline, you’ll even be able to recline your seat without disturbing the passenger behind you. Very nice of them to offer that service, but really, is that a feature? You also get a pretty large screen, so you can watch two movies at the same time. Because who doesn’t watch the movie on your neighbor’s screen? Right?

For those in economy class, you will get the option to take a bunk bed – eeh skynest. There will be six of these pods at the back of the plane.

But if you don’t have the cash to pay for a skynest, you can always take three economy seats and turn that into something of a bed I guess.
