Live Reaction to Tumbbad Trailer! Indian Cinema Horror.

Our panels live reaction to the trailer for 2018's Tumbbad! My first look at Indian Cinema Horror. This film looks mythological, cautionary tale, folklore, and dark. Period horror at it's best? Directed by Rahi Anil Barve, Creative Director Anand Ghandi. Loosely based on two different short stories, both by Narayan Dharap. The first one is a short story called “Aaji" in the short story collection Anolkhi Disha part 3. This story inspired the creepy old woman in the movie.

The story Aaji inspired by a Stephen King short story called "Gramma".

The second is a short story titled “Bali" from the short story collection Padchhaya. This story inspires the part about the gold coins.
