Kanye West dropped by agents and multiple brands following antisemitic comments

Adidas, Gap, and Foot Locker drop Kayne West for his recent controversial behavior and blatant antisemitic comments about the Jewish people. On October 8th, West tweeted he was, "going Death Con 3 on Jewish people.” Recently, Kanye West said this on ‘Drink Champs’ Podcast: "The thing about me and Adidas is like, I can literally say anti-Semitics--- and they can't drop me." Following West’s most recent antisemitic remarks on his media platforms, Adidas cut all ties with the rapper just yesterday in a formal announcement condemning West’s hateful rhetoric against Jews. Adidas had partnered with Ye for 9 years, becoming hugely successful from the symbiotic relationship the brand built from West’s line of popular sneakers. Adidas says it will take a loss of over $240 million to its fourth-quarter sales by cutting ties. Swiftly after Adidas dropped Kanye, the rapper has since been abandoned by the Gap, Vogue, the Fashion House Balenciaga, and his powerful agents at Creative Artists Agency (CAA).
