Situation in #Starobelsk Direction until 16:00 on 26 Oct 2022

#Kupyansk Sector:

▪️ The AFU has switched to defence, there are no significant changes on the front.

#Svatovo Sector:

▪️ The enemy, with a reinforced combined battalion tactical group, has made five attempts to storm the Russian positions in the #Kuzemovka area from the #Peschanoye direction. Russian Forces repulsed the attacks.

#Lyman Sector:

🇷🇺 Units of the 3rd Motorized Rifle Division of the 20th Army went on the counter-offensive after successfully repulsing AFU attacks in the previous days:

▪️ The Russians drove Ukrainian formations out of #Makeevka and #Novosadovoye. They practically destroyed the enemy's bridgehead on the east bank of the #Zherebets River, from which attacks were launched in the direction of the #Svatovo - #Kremennaya highway.

▪️ Along the entire length of the river south of #Makeevka, Russian Forces pushed back the AFU to the coastal villages. Fighting is ongoing in #Terny, #Yampolovka and #Torskoye.

#Lysychansk Sector:

▪️ After several failed attempts to storm the Russian positions near #Belogorovka, the enemy command has gone on the defensive.
