Car split in half after hitting tree near 48th and Good Hope; 3 teens injured

Three teens were taken to the hospital after a crash near 48th and Good Hope on Tuesday. Milwaukee police said the crash happened around 5:39 p.m. A 2018 Hyundai Elantra was traveling east on W. Good Hope Road at a high rate of speed when it crashed into a tree and split in half. The three occupants of the vehicle, all teens, were taken to the hospital.
