Alaska GOP Votes to Censure McConnell for ‘Malicious Attack’ against Trump-Backed Candidate
It’s no secret that Mitch McConnell is on the outs with many Republicans. He has refused to back Donald Trump, even as the 45th president works to help the GOP win big this year. Trump has been increasingly critical of McConnell, often calling on Senate Republicans to choose another leader.

And it seems other Republicans are growing tired of Mitch’s antics. Even though Republicans from one state backed a 2022 Senate candidate, McConnell defied their choice. He has even spent millions attacking this candidate in support of a D.C. swamp dweller. So, the party had no choice.

From The Hill:

The Alaska Republican Party on Monday voted to censure Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell for what they called spreading “divisive and misleading statements” about their endorsed candidate in Alaska’s Senate race…

McConnell, who runs the Senate Leadership Fund, has spent millions on ads attacking Tshibaka to support Murkowski, a 20-year incumbent.
