Printer is Offline

If you're getting the Canon printer is an offline error, there are a few things you can do to try and fix it.

First, make sure that your printer is turned on and connected to your computer. Sometimes the printer can appear to be offline if it's not properly connected.

If your printer is on and connected, the next step is to check your printer's status in the Devices and Printers control panel. To do this, go to Start -Devices and Printers.

If your printer has a green check mark next to it, that means it's online and ready to print. If it has a yellow exclamation point next to it, that means there's a problem.

At this point, you can try restarting your printer. This can sometimes fix connectivity issues.

If your printer is still offline, you may need to uninstall and reinstall your printer drivers. You can do this from the Devices and Printers control panel.

Once youve uninstalled your printer drivers, you can then reinstall them from the manufacturer's website.
