As the Iranian government intensifies its deadly crackdown on protesters, it’s trying to control the narrative. To date, more than 1,000 protestors have been arrested across Iran. According to the Committee to Protect Journalists, at least 40 journalists in Iran have been detained since protests first began. Rights groups though suspect the number is much higher.
