For DCEU, the new film Black Adam offers a potential spark for resuscitating the franchise. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson plays the role of Black Adam.

We won't bother you with idle chitchat. Black Adam. How sad. It's a terrible film, but if you're in the mood for some big, stupid action, you could do worse.

It was too good to be true, at least in my opinion. Everything seems like it's being projected onto a green screen.

There is no background information provided for these characters. It feels like the movie was thrown together quickly and has no real purpose.

We had hoped The Rock's next movie would be a hit, but now we are disappointed.
