UK Heatwave: Earith Bulwark

As the UK has a heatwave at the moment, I got the drone up to take a look to see what the Bulwark looks like with dry grass.... Temperature was around 33c (about 91f) at the time 🥵

The Earith Bulwark fort was built between 1643 and 1645 to protect crossing points on the local rivers (the bridge where the Huntingdon to Ely road crosses the river) during the English Civil War. According to Historic England tt was “amongst the most elaborate fortifications” from the English Civil War and was later used as a gun emplacement during World War II.
