Thy Kingdom Come, Part 21: Watchmen on the Wall

I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

Isaiah 62:6-7

Dietrich Bonhoeffer famously said, "Silence in the face of evil is evil itself". God has appointed His people as 'watchmen' who must not hold their peace when the enemy approaches. And the responsibility to speak up falls upon those in the pews as well as those in the pulpit.
