Detroit police shoot & killed barricaded gunman suspect

Detroit police officers shot and killed a barricaded gunman suspect inside a home on Monday morning. Police had been on scene of the situation since Sunday, and reported that the suspect assaulted his girlfriend and gave her serious injuries. We're told the suspect had just gotten out of jail, and told police that he wasn't going back and he wanted officers to kill him. Police say he pointed a gun at officers.
