We Took Our Own Plane to Chicago (and hit a Goose!!!)

I crossed another bucket list item off my list recently when I took my family on a 1,700 mile round-trip to Chicago in our own personal airplane!!! Words can't describe how excited I was for this trip, but I was pretty nervous during flight planning. It's one thing to be responsible for the aircraft and your own life, but when your most precious cargo is onboard, it's a whole new ballgame!

I won't spoil the fun, but the good news is: We lived, we had a blast, and we can't wait to go on our next adventure!
