Watch: Ex-DA deputy mayor to lead ActionSA in Western Cape

South Africa - Cape Town - 24 October 2022 - Action SA announces Michelle Wasserman as the newly elected Cape Provincial Chairperson. The press conference was attended by Party president Herman Mashaba, National Operations Director and ActionSA National Director of communications Samuel Mgobozi and members of the Western Cape Provincial Executive Committee (PEC). The DA’s former deputy mayor of Knysna is now ActionSA’s new Western Cape chairperson, a position that became vacant following the death of political stalwart Vytjie Mentor. Michelle Wasserman, an attorney by profession, ditched the blue party for the green mambas after she announced her resignation from the party earlier this year.
