Various Daylife kinda went under the radar... is it any good?

Nintendo did one of my favorite things at the last direct and announced a game that was releasing right after the direct. That game was Various Daylife and I was surprised that it received like 30 seconds, was dropping the same day, but got almost NO hype. So is it good? I've loved what I've played of octopath traveller and Triangle strategy, and have actually gotten this game for free because it came bundled with Triangle Strategy on steam. The question is now though... is it good?
