K1600GTL | Land O' Lakes to Zephyrhills | Over the River and Through the Woods Route | Motorcycle 🏍

Today we head out to follow a route suggested online from Motorcycle Roads. The route is called, Over the River and Through the Woods. Since Florida is flat, no hills to really recall, but does go through the woods.

The route startes in Land O' Lakes and circles back to Zephyrhills.

Written Directions from the Website:

Start in Land O Lakes FL and head north on US 41/SR-45 and take a right on to Ehern Cutoff. Drive thru Ehern and when you run into SR-52 take a right (heading east). Stay on SR-52 all the way to Dade City. Now take a left and head north on SR-35/Treiman Blvd/US-301. Turn right on to Cortez Blvd/SR-50 in Richloam and head east for about 3 miles till you get to SR-471 where you want to take a right and head south for about 15 miles. Take a right on US-98/SR-35/SR-700 for about 1.5 miles then veer left on to Highway 54 for 7 miles. Turn left at Gall Blvd/US-301 and go for about 2.5 miles to the route's end in Plant City. .

We ended up at a local fast food Mexican Taco stand in Zephyrhills for lunch before returning to Tampa.

The heat is Florida during the summer months is brutal. This is the main problem about being outside during the middle of the daytime.
