I never used Napster but I may or may not have tried Limewire. That was a nightmarish time for the music industry. The music was arguably the most valuable it had ever been in terms of quality and yet people were questioning why they would buy it in stores when they could download it for free online. The music industry was unequipped to deal with the millions and billions of downloads that occurred and are still prevalent today. Now, another threat has appeared and again it's the advancement of technology. AI threatens to take songs and make it their own opening the floodgates for anyone to potentially make a hit rhythm. What happens to the music when there’s too much music?
