Calling from a 519 area code. Who's this? Where are you calling from? Sandy, you're not bugging me. I just want to remind people that on Monday is the Ontario Municipal elections across the province. and it's so important for people to get out and vote. Yeah, tell us a little bit about that if you don't mind. yeah, so I don't I can't quite remember how it works in the States but in Canada when Municipal elections happen they happen in Province-wide at the same time. and right now there's a right-wing push to get into the school boards to get into the council Wards and things. and BC had theirs last weekend and they already had a right-wing takeover disaster. and Ontario was primed to follow suit right now. because participation in Municipal elections is the lowest in all elections and participation in our federal-provincial elections is pretty bad, to begin with. So things for people to look out for are candidates who say things like parental rights. if they say they're part of blueprints for Canada. campaign for Life. the fair organization. Those are all red flags that they're part of a right-wing organization. And the best way, if you don't have the time, is to seek out all the candidates individually because unfortunately since they're not part of parties you have to do research on them individually for every position. reach out to your local Grassroots organizations or a local activist and get recommendations on who to vote for.
