Nujabes is a long-time favorite for 2/3rds of us and it was a lot of fun to play these classic songs again. Jun Seba put out some of the best jazzy beats and melodies in the 2000s and it was great to visit this and talk about this early collection. Some of his music is so peaceful and beautiful that it really stands out not just among hip hop, but among music in general. Along with the melodies and beats, this First Collection includes great vocal contributions from Cise Starr, Pase Rock, Shing02, L-Universe, Substantial, Funky DL, Apani B, and Five Deez. Although we are not huge hip-hop heads, it was great to share one of our favorites from the genre. Enjoy!
