Shurpanakha comes to Shri Ram and changes her form into a beautiful woman and proposes marriage to Shri Ram. Shri Ram
refuses to marry Shoorpanakha and tells her that I have taken a vow to live with a wife. Seeing Sita Mata, Shurpanakha
proceeds to kill her, then Shri Ram orders Lakshmana to cut off her nose. When Shurpanakha comes to narrate her pain to

Ravana after having his nose cut off from Sri Rama and Lakshmana, everyone is sitting in Ravana's assembly. Shurpanakha

tells him about Sri Rama, Lakshmana and Sita. Shurpanakha wanted to avenge her insult to Shri Ram, so she lies to Ravana

that she wanted to bring Sita to Ravana, so Rama and Lakshmana humiliated her by biting her nose and made fun of Ravana

too. Ravana gets angry hearing this. When Ravana asks his messenger about them, he introduces them to Sri Rama and

Lakshmana.
