Galatians 6:1 King James Version
6 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
BECAUSE THIS COULD BE YOU!!! GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA Y’ALL!!!
I have to say guys that I find the book of Obadiah very interesting, and I find it very interesting, for a couple of reasons. One, it's a prophet that's speaking to a neighboring country, a country that's technically related to Israel, and warning them of an impending judgment, That became a reality, against them for their hatred of Israel. Finally, it's a very powerful reminder, to never take joy or happiness in the calamity and misfortunes of others. To never rejoice in the suffering that somebody else is going through, even if that person is someone like Michael Avenatti. That we need to remember that as Karen Pimpo this morning's devotional writer stated so very well, “We’re not in a position to judge others. Only God can do that.” I think that's why the questions from this morning's devotional, we're so challenging to my heart today, and I'd like to share them with you tonight. please read these questions very carefully, and I pray that God will challenge you through them.

How do you react to the hardships other space?

I'd like to share some thoughts on not only this passage of scripture, but also on the issue of showing compassion to others even those who we think don't deserve it. Please watch this vlog, so that you can understand how important it is to choose compassion and empathy, over self-righteous gloating! 😊

So, as I close this post with all of you tonight oh I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it will get you to thinking about what I've said in this blog tonight, and that you will act on it.

What does a loving merciful response look like?

My prayer for all of you tonight, is that you think about your actions/responses to those who are suffering hardships. To examine your heart and your attitude towards those who are experiencing misfortune and ask God to change your attitude if it's one of joy over their misfortune. Don't be like the pharisee who put down the tax collector, but be humble and willing enough to admit your faults before the Lord. Ask God to forgive you for your feelings of self-righteousness, and be thankful for His justice and mercy in your life daily. Be willing to show compassion!!!

UNTIL SATRUDAY MY FRIENDS:

HAVE A TRANQUIL EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
