WMA Club Meeting FS22 - Meeting X: KPMG ft. Celeste Leon

Hello and Welcome to the FDU Wealth Management Advisory Club Meeting. This meeting is presented by our sponsors: Popl, FLIT Invest, & Wiley.

In this meeting, we have Celeste Leon, Global Advisory Sales from KPMG. She graduated from Monmouth University’s Leon Hess Business School with summa cum laude honors in 2019 with a major in Accounting and a minor in Information Technology. She was awarded an Outstanding Student Award for her involvement and excellence throughout my college years. She interned with Santander Bank, Tomorrow’s Financial Services Inc, VF Corporation, and Geller & Company. She founded her own company, I AM Community, a self-development community of women made up of 8-week sessions filled with education, mindset discussions, and sisterhood. She is currently working at KPMG where she started as an Audit Associate, then Senior Audit Associate to now as KPMG’s Americas Sales Enablement Lead. She is passionate about community building, mental health, and inspiring those around her by creating thought-provoking content, articles, and poetry. She describes herself as an enthusiastic, curious and driven woman. Recently, she passed the CPA Exam and is a contributing author in “Today’s Inspired Young Latina”. Fun Fact about Celeste is that she lived in 4 countries, including Canada, Peru, England and the United States, and is a fluent Spanish speaker.

Wealth Management Advisory Club aims to provide a space where students can develop an understanding of Wealth Management, learn the importance of setting goals to achieve financial success, enable students to discover their career passions, and create a sense of community for those interested in Wealth Management Advisory.

This club is open to not just all FDU Silberman Business Majors, but all majors at FDU, FDU Silberman Professors, Staff, and Alumni are invited to come and join the club.
