Firestarting with Shovel | ON Three

Jason Salyer uses his 1984 Russian Special Forces shovel to see if he can get a fire started. After sharpening the mild steel of his shovel's edge with a rock, he gathers some wood from a dead standing white pine along with some dried brush for his fire. Using only his shovel, he chops and whittles the wood he needs for the fire. With a little ingenuity, he gets a good fire started. Tune in now to see how!
