Houses destroyed, crops submerged, thousands displaced: Cameroon ravaged by floods

Large areas in northern Cameroon have been suffering from heavy rains that have caused one of the biggest floods the region has ever seen. Inhabitants of the city of Kousseri struggled to save their most important belongings, using even furniture as boats to transport their possessions through flooded streets.
