📒 ▪️In the southern front, the tensest situation is in the Beryslav area. The AFU seek to break through the Russian defense in the direction of Beryslav, flanking and threatening to encircle the entire Russian grouping near Kherson.

▪️On the morning of October 15, the AFU with two battalion-tactical groups of the 60th Infantry Brigade and 17th Tank Brigade, supported by mobile groups of the 140th Special Operations Regiment, launched an attack on the Russian positions from the direction of Nova Kamyanka.

▪️In the failed offensive the enemy lost almost two dozen YPR-765 armored vehicles, BMP-2s and T-64BV tanks. The AFU 60th Infantry Brigade lost 70 people, the 140th Special Forces regiment, whose units were conducting reconnaissance combat, also suffered heavy losses.

▪️Four days later, in the early morning of October 19, the AFU launched a new attack on the Russian Armed Forces' positions near Sukhanove and Polyanka by the 18 Mountain and 60 Infantry brigades assault groups. Later, the enemy introduced reserves — the 28th Mechanized brigade units and the 17th Brigade tank company — into the battle.

▪️Under artillery and large-caliber MLRS strikes, the enemy began to retreat. The AFU retreated to their initial positions, losing six tanks and several dozen personnel.

▪️On the entire Mykolaiv-Kryvyi Rih direction, the Russian Armed Forces are entrenched and creating several lines of defense, which makes it possible to deter attacks. But the AFU still have a large numerical superiority and is preparing for a major offensive on Kherson.

▪️Under these conditions, the authorities of Kherson region decided to organize the evacuation of residents to the left bank of Dnipro River.
