Canada: PM Trudeau on Emergencies Act inquiry, oath to the King in Quebec, inflation – October 19, 2022

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau speaks with reporters ahead of the weekly Liberal caucus meeting and is asked about his view of Ontario Premier Doug Ford's response to the Ottawa convoy protests. The questions come following testimony from Mayor Jim Watson the previous day at the Emergencies Act inquiry. The prime minister also responds to questions about the obligation of National Assembly of Quebec members to swear an oath to the King. He comments as well on Statistics Canada's latest inflation numbers.
