WORLD'S GIANT PANDA'S CELEBRATES ITS 15TH BIRTHDAY | Kai Kai and Jia Jia's Birthdays

Giant pandas Kai Kai and Jia Jia's stay in Singapore will be extended for five more years to 2027 after 10 years of living in Singapore's River Wonders attraction.

Tourists flocked to the zoo to welcome the good news and to celebrate Kai Kai's 15th birthday and Jia Jia's recent 14th birthday.

Kai Kai and Jia Jia were sent to Singapore in 2012, three years after the agreement on cooperative research on giant pandas was signed for the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Singapore. Giant panda cub Le Le was born in River Safari in Singapore on Aug 14, 2021 as Kai Kai and Jia Jia's firstborn.
