I had no intention of repotting my Zygopetalum Louisendorf, but, having noticed a black spot on a pseudobulb, a couple of days ago... thinking that it will just dry up, like the new growth that had bloomed, did... I waited. However, in a matter of days, the black spot on the pseudobulb turned soft and increased in size. So, there was no time to waste, and let's get rid of the rotting section of the orchid pseudobulb, while trying to maintain as much of the healthy tissue to serve as a storage organ, as possible.
