#622 // SONS OF LIBERTY - LIVE
The Sons of Liberty was a loosely organized, clandestine, sometimes violent, political organization active in the Thirteen American Colonies founded to advance the rights of the colonists and to fight taxation by the British government. It played a major role in most colonies in battling the Stamp Act in 1765 and throughout the entire period of the American Revolution.
Six months after King George declared those who demand equal rights to be Enemies of the State, these same Sons of Liberty gathered in common purpose to double down on their demands - for equal justice before the law - for the right to be heard - and not silenced - for the rights of all men, regardless of station, nation or tongue - to live freely without thieves and brigands canceling their existence, stealing from their bank accounts - and placing black-marks of iredeemable nature upon all their future prospects.
After the Revolutionary Storm had passed, some - like Alexander Hamilton - were persuaded that infinite debt would provide an irresistable force to union, which would eventually pull the nation together. Thomas Jefferson wisely spoke against these ideas - arguing that eternal enslavement to those who falsely provided the limitless funds would be the natural course of events. Eventually, Thomas Jefferson prophesied - the bankers would show their true colors and disposses the very citizens who's forefathers' blood seasoned the soil to allow freedom to bloom in the first place.
