When is it the right time?
Or, how about the right circumstance?
Or, when will you be right for the job, for the race, for the business, or for the challenge?

Of course depending on what you’re doing (e.g. you’re not going to run a marathon with 0 training) there is a degree of training, experience and focus required to pursue an athletic/health endeavour, a business endeavour, or a new relationship with yourself or others.

People who experience performance anxiety often present perfectionist tendencies. And; many of us shy away from experiences, relationships and challenges because we don’t think we’re “quite there” yet.

Can you tell if you’re making excuses and hiding or if you truly do need more training and preparation to tackle something new?
