Expanded pokemon sets is a set review series meant to cover pokemon sets that are only part of the expanded format. Since I wasn't making pokemon tcg videos during the time when they were new I'll be looking at them as part of the expanded format today but I'll also talk about thier significance in the meta during the time they were fresh.

Dark Explorers was an extreme powerhouse set helping darkness pokemon a great deal with some of its cards while also bringing some significant pokemon and trainers in the format. Darkrai EX was so good that it ended up winning the World Championship back to back while cards like Ultra Ball might be one of the most game changing cards the tcg has ever seen. For myself this set is awesome because of the extremely lovely and cool full arts of some of my favorite legendary pokemon and for other personal reasons explained in the video.
