Usually when a creature has a name suggestive of 'immortal', it is always interpreted non-literally. But not so in the case of the biological rules of this jellyfish. This jellyfish, called Turritopsis nutricula, simply cannot die of natural causes. Her regeneration ability is so high that she can only die if she is completely torn apart.
