The Day of the Lord happened in John’s Time
Revelation 1:10
10 On the Lord’s Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet
Malachi 4:5
5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord:
Matthew 17:12-13
12 But I tell you,
Elijah has already come,
and they did not recognize him, but have done to him everything they wished.
In the same way the Son of Man is going to suffer at their hands.”
13 Then the disciples understood that he was talking to them about John the Baptist.
Matthew 3:7
7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming for baptism, he said to them, “You brood of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
Joel 2:28-31
The Promise of the Spirit
28 It will come about after this
That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind;
And your sons and daughters will prophesy,
Your old men will dream dreams,
Your young men will see visions.
29 “Even on the male and female servants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days.
The Day of the Lord
30 “I will display wonders in the sky and on the earth,
Blood, fire and columns of smoke.
31 “The sun will be turned into darkness
And the moon into blood
Before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes.
Luke 21:20-24
20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations:
and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles,
until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
Luke 21:32
32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
Luke 21:34
34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting,
and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
1 Thessalonians 5:2-4
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
Revelation 1:
1 The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John,
2 who testifies to everything he saw—that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ.
3 Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.

Ezekiel 12:21
Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
22 “Son of man, what is this proverb that you have in the land of Israel:
‘The days go by,
and every vision fails’?
23 Therefore tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says:
‘I will put an end to this proverb, and in Israel they will no longer recite it.
’But say to them: ‘The days are at hand when every vision will be fulfilled.
24 For there will be no more false visions or flattering divinations within the house of Israel,
25 because I, the LORD, will speak whatever word I speak, and it will be fulfilled without delay.
For in your days, O rebellious house, I will speak a message and bring it to pass, declares the Lord GOD.’
”26 Furthermore, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
27 “Son of man, take note that the house of Israel is saying, ‘The vision that he sees is for many years from now; he prophesies about the distant future.’
28 Therefore tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘None of My words will be delayed any longer. The message I speak will be fulfilled, declares the Lord GOD.’ ”
18 “Son of man, eat your bread with trembling, and drink your water with quivering and anxiety.
19 Then tell the people of the land that this is what the Lord GOD says about those living in Jerusalem and in the land of Israel:
‘They will eat their bread with anxiety and drink their water in dread, for their land will be stripped of everything in it because of the violence of all who dwell in it.
20 The inhabited cities will be laid waste, and the land will become desolate. Then you will know that I am the LORD.’
Ezekiel 9:4
Go throughout the city of Jerusalem,” said the LORD,
“and put a mark on the foreheads of the men sighing and groaning over all the abominations committed there.”
Ezekiel 12:10
Tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says:
‘This burden concerns the prince in Jerusalem and all the house of Israel who are there.’
11 You are to say,
‘I am a sign to you.’ Just as it happened here,
so will it be done to them; they will go into exile as captives.
Ezekiel 12:5
And as I listened,
He said to the others,
“Follow him through the city and start killing;
do not show pity or spare anyone!
6 Slaughter the old men,
the young men and maidens,
the women and children;
but do not go near anyone who has the mark.
Now begin at My sanctuary.”
Ezekiel 12:
23 Therefore tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says:
‘I will put an end to this proverb, and in Israel they will no longer recite it.’
But say to them:
‘The days are at hand when every vision will be fulfilled.
24 For there will be no more false visions or flattering divinations within the house of Israel,
25 because I,
the LORD, will speak whatever word I speak, and it will be fulfilled without delay.
(FOR IN YOUR DAYS)
O rebellious house,
I will speak a message and bring it to pass, declares the Lord GOD.’ ”
26 Furthermore, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
27 “Son of man, take note that the house of Israel is saying, ‘The vision that he sees is for many years from now;
he prophesies about the distant future.’
28Therefore tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says:
‘None of My words will be delayed any longer.
The message I speak will be fulfilled, declares the Lord GOD.’ ”
Revelation 1:7
He is coming with the clouds,
and every eye will see him, and
(THOSE WHO PIERCED HIM)
and all the tribes of the earth will beat themselves in grief because of him.
For everyone saying that the 'end is near'... read Ephesians 3:21.
I've included a couple verses prior for context
(because CONTEXT is wholly critical to understanding scripture).
This world will NOT end.
No.
Jesus Christ is King of Kings,
reigning right NOW, and we are promised that this world will not end.
Remember, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Praying for Jesus to come is also calling Him a liar.
Praying for Him to 'come' is denying that He is in FACT here right NOW, inside each of us born again of the Spirit.
No need to wait brothers and sisters. Receive Him now. His Kingdom is INSIDE of you:
Luke 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is WITHIN you.
It is imperative that each of us reads His Word ourselves.
Not relying on someone else to tell us what it says.
And I know, I used to say,
"but I don't understand it (the Bible). I need someone else to explain it."
2 Corinthians 5:4
while we are in this tent, we groan under our burdens,
because we do not wish to be unclothed but clothed,
so that our mortality may be swallowed up by life.
5 And God has prepared us for this very purpose and has given us the Spirit as a pledge of what is to come.
6 Therefore we are always confident, although we know that while we are at home in the body,
we are away from the Lord.
7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.
8 We are confident, then,
and
(would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.)
9 So we aspire to please Him,
whether we are here in this body or away from it.
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ,
that each one may receive his due for the things done in the body,
whether good or bad.
14
For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that One died for all, therefore all died.
15 (And He died for all,
that those who live should no longer live for themselves,)
but for Him who died for them and was raised again.
16 ****So from now on we regard no one according to the flesh.*****
***Although we once regarded Christ in this way,
**** NOT COMING IN THE FLESH AGAIN!!****
(WE DO SO NO LONGER!!!!!)
***NEW CREATION***
17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ,
he is a new creation.
(The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come!)
***NEW HEAVEN AND EARTH***
18 All this is from God,
who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:
19 that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ,
not counting men’s trespasses against them.
And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
20 Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ,
as though God were making His appeal through us.
We implore you on behalf of Christ:
Be reconciled to God.
Ezekiel 9:4
4 And the LORD said unto him,
Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem,
and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.
5 And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:
6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary.
Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.
7 And he said unto them,
Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain:
go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city.
8 And it came to pass,
while they were slaying them, and I was left,
that I fell upon my face,
and cried, and said,
Ah Lord GOD!
wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem?

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you

Matthew 26:63-64
63 But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him,
I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.
64 Jesus saith unto him,
Thou hast said:
nevertheless I say unto you,
Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
Galatians 5:16-1816 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit,
and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh:
and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

"Revelation" (Gr., apokalupsis) means "an uncovering," "an unveiling," or "a disclosure."
Revelation 1. 1
The Revelation of Jesus Christ,
which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass;
and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant
John:2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy,

4 John,
To the seven churches in the province of Asia: Grace and peace to you from him who is,
and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits before his throne,
5 and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth.

6 and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever!
Amen.
Luke 17:20-21
The Coming of the Kingdom
20 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come,
He answered them and said,
“The kingdom of God does not come with observation;
21 nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’
For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”
("Coming on Clouds")
IS A JUDGEMENT metaphor was clearly intended for Caiaphas and the first-century crowd who condemned Christ to death.)
7 “Look, he is coming with the clouds,” and “every eye will see him, even those who pierced him”; and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.”
So shall it be! Amen.
(DID YOU PIERCE JESUS?)
Hebrews 9:28
“So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time,
not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.”
2 Peter 3:13
But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.
Hebrews 9:26-28
26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
Revelation 1:7
“Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him,
and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.”
Acts 1:10-11
“And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes, and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven?
This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”
Acts 17:31
“Because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead.”
John 14:1
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe in Me as well.
2 In My Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and welcome you into My presence,
so that you also may be where I am.
4 You know the way to the place where I am going.
The Way, the Truth, and the Life
5“Lord,” said Thomas, “we do not know where You are going, so how can we know the way?”
6 Jesus answered,
“I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through Me.
7 If you had known Me, you would know My Father as well. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.”
8 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.”
9 Jesus replied, “Philip, I have been with you all this time, and still you do not know Me?
Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words I say to you,
I do not speak on My own. Instead, it is the Father dwelling in Me, performing His works.
11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me—or at least believe on account of the works themselves.
12 Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I am doing.
He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
13 And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If you ask Med for anything in My name, I will do it.Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit
15 If you love Me, you will keepe My commandments.
16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocatef to be with you forever—
17 the Spirit of truth.
The world cannot receive Him,
because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you do know Him, for He abides with you and will be in you.
18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
19In a little while the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you also will live.
20 On that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I am in you.21 Whoever has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me.
The one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him.”
22 Judas (not Iscariot) asked Him, “Lord, why are You going to reveal Yourself to us and not to the world?”
23 Jesus replied, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word. My Father will love him,
and We will come to him and make Our home with him.
24 Whoever does not love Me does not keep My words. The word that you hear is not My own, but it is from the Father who sent Me.
25 All this I have spoken to you while I am still with you.
26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have told you.
27Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled; do not be afraid.
28 You heard Me say, ‘I am going away, and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I.
29And now I have told you before it happens, so that when it does happen, you will believe.
30 I will not speak with you much longer, for the prince of this world is coming, and he has no claim on Me.
31But I do exactly what the Father has commanded Me, so that the world may know that I love the Father.
Luke 17:20
And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come,
he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
Luke 16:16
The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
Daniel 2:44
And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom,
which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people,
but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
The greek word for sign is parasouia which means presence so
Matthew chapter 24
you will see the sign of the coming of the son of man in the clouds" or his presence.
This verse is popularly used to promote a literal physical coming of Jesus, for it seems to be saying he would be seen by the natural eyesight. However,
there are several aspects to this verse that are not immediately apparent to someone who is unfamiliar with the scriptures and Hebrew thought.
The First thing to consider was the appearance of- not the Son of Man- but the sign of the Son of Man in Heaven.
And event occurring in the visible Natural realm that indicates a greater and more significant event in the Unseen Spiritual realm.
Earthly manifestations of events that happened in Heaven.
Next where was the sign to occur? At first glance it seems the sign would be in Heaven.
However, we need to look a bit closer. There are two ways of looking at this. The sign would be in Heaven
(the unseen Spiritual realm)
and it would be the sign of the Son of Man or The sign would be on earth ( the visible Natural realm)
and would indicate that the Son of Man is in Heaven
(in the unseen Spiritual realm.
I believe the sign was manifested on the earth.
I believe that the sign was an event occurring in the visible Natural realm (Earth) that indicated a greater and more significant event in the Unseen Realm (Heaven).
2 Cor 4:18
says " we look not at the things which are seen but at the things which are not seen..
the things which are not seen are eternal.
This we need to understand that Jesus was not to return in a physical body,
to be seen with the natural eye sight. He had gone into the realm of the unseen at his ascension,
and he would come again in the same unseen realm.
Because the modern church has focused on the parable of the coming of the Son of Man,
it has missed the reality of His coming in the Spirit.
They look for the parable for a sign,
when the reality has already happened.
The kingdom of God exists in the realm of the Spirit,
however most Christians have a fleshly or natural understanding of the kingdom ,and the teachings of Christ Jesus.
Jesus said to his Disciples,
" Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:
That seeing they may see,
and not perceive: and hearing they may hear and not understand
Mark 4:11-12).
Jesus here unequivocally stayed that the kingdom of God is a mystery. It is a spiritual concept that is foreign to those who are without or outside of the Spirit realm.
Many fail to realize that Jesus teachings were in parables, and the scriptures on a whole are written in parables or signs.
This is because the Scriptures need to be understood in the Spirit. The scripture speaks of the unseen realities, which are coded in symbols taken from the natural realm.
The devil cannot be in more than one place at a time. A spirit needs a body to attach to. Demons manifest in people.
Mark 5
Demons Cast into Pigs
1 And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.
2And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,
3 Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:
4 Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.
5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.
6 But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,
7 And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God?
I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.
8 For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.
9 And he asked him, What is thy name?
And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.
10 And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.
11 Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding.
12 And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.
13 And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine:
and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea,
(they were about two thousand;)
and were choked in the sea.
Perhaps the two times that satan was released was during the time in the garden with Adam and eve and once when the wrath of God was put upon Jerusalem.
Jesus took the power away from satan the day he was sacrificed on the tree in Calvary
(Genesis 1:26-28)
When Adam sinned, by obeying satan instead of God, he delivered the authority he had over these kingdoms to satan.
Jesus Took satan's Authority Away
Matthew 28:18-19
18And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Romans 6:16
Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey;
whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
John 8:34
34 Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.
35 A slave is not a permanent member of the family, but a son belongs to it forever.
36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
The Lord has put all his enemies under his feet, The last enemy to be destroyed is death.
1 Corinthians 15
Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you,
which you received and on which you have taken your stand.
2 By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
The Resurrection of the Dead
12 But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?
13 If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised.
14 And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.
15 More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead.
But he did not raise him if in fact the dead are not raised.
16 For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either.
17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.
18 Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost.
19 If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.
20 But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
21 For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man.
22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.
23 But each in turn: Christ, the first Fruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him.
24 Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power.
25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.
26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death.
27 For he “has put everything under his feet.”
Now when it says that “everything”
has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself,
who put everything under Christ.
28 When he has done this,
then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all
Mathew 24:33
While Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately.
“Tell us,” they said,
“when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?”
4 Jesus answered, “See to it that no one deceives you.
5 For many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.
6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come.
7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.
If satan is so powerful how come his prophets could not call down fire on the Alter as Elijah did.
2 Kings 1:12
And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God,
then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.
1 Kings 18:26
And they took the bull which was given them, and they dressed it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even until noon, saying, O Baal, hear us.
But there was no voice, nor any that answered. And they leaped upon the altar which was made.
The Lord puts the holy spirit into us and we become more Christ like every day.
John 14:26
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name,
will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
1 Corinthians 2:10-16
10 these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit.
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
11 For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them?
In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
12 What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God,
so that we may understand what God has freely given us.
13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit,
explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.
14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness,
and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.
15 The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments,16 for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?
”But we have the mind of Christ.
Romans 5:1-25
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
John 161
“All this I have told you so that you will not fall away.
2 They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact,
the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God.
3 They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me.
4 I have told you this, so that when their time comes you will remember that I warned you about them.
I did not tell you this from the beginning because I was with you,
5 but now I am going to him who sent me. None of you asks me,
‘Where are you going?’
6 Rather, you are filled with grief because I have said these things.
7 But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away,
the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
8 When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment:
9 about sin, because people do not believe in me;
10 about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer;
11 and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.
12 “I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear.
13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth.
He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
14 He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you
.15 All that belongs to the Father is mine.
That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.”
The Disciples’ Grief Will Turn to Joy
16 Jesus went on to say, “In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me.”
17 At this, some of his disciples said to one another, “What does he mean by saying,
‘In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me,’ and ‘Because I am going to the Father’?”
18 They kept asking,
“What does he mean by ‘a little while’?
We don’t understand what he is saying.”
19 Jesus saw that they wanted to ask him about this, so he said to them,
“Are you asking one another what I meant when I said, ‘In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me’?
20 Very truly I tell you, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices.
You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy
.21 A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world.
22 So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.
23 In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.
24 Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.
25 “Though I have been speaking figuratively, a time is coming when I will no longer use this kind of language but will tell you plainly about my Father.
26 In that day you will ask in my name. I am not saying that I will ask the Father on your behalf.
27 No, the Father himself loves you because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God.
28 I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.”
29 Then Jesus’ disciples said, “Now you are speaking clearly and without figures of speech
30 Now we can see that you know all things and that you do not even need to have anyone ask you questions.
This makes us believe that you came from God.”
31 “Do you now believe?” Jesus replied.
32 “A time is coming and in fact has come when you will be scattered, each to your own home.
You will leave me all alone. Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with me.
33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble.
But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Ezekiel 7:11
And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
2 “O son of man, this is what the Lord GOD says to the land of Israel:
‘The end!
The end has come up on the four corners of the land.
3 The end is now upon you,
and I will unleash My anger against you.
I will judge you according to your ways and repay you for all your abominations
.4 I will not look on you with pity, nor will I spare you,
but I will punish you for your ways and for the abominations among you.
Then you will know that I am the LORD.’
5 This is what the Lord GOD says:‘ Disaster! An unprecedented disaster a — behold,
it is coming!
6 The end has come! The end has come!
It has roused itself against you. Behold, it has come!
7 Doom has come to you, O inhabitants of the land.
The time has come; the day is near; there is panic on the mountains instead of shouts of joy.
8 Very soon I will pour out My WRATH upon you and vent My anger against you;
I will judge you according to your ways and repay you for all your abominations.
9 I will not look on you with pity,
nor will I spare you, but I will punish you for your ways and for the abominations among you.
Then you will know that it is I, the LORD, who strikes the blow.10 Behold, the day is here! It has come!
Doom has gone out, the rod has budded, arrogance has bloomed.11 Their violence has grown into a rod to punish their wickedness.
Ezekiel 7:14
They have blown the trumpet and made everything ready, but no one goes to war,
for My WRATH is upon the whole multitude.
15 The sword is outside; plague and famine are within. Those in the country will die by the sword,
and those in the city will be devoured by famine and plague.
16 The survivors will escape and live in the mountains, moaning like doves of the valley, each for his own iniquity.
17 Every hand will go limp, and every knee will turn to water.
18 They will put on sackcloth, and terror will overwhelm them. Shame will cover all their faces, and all their heads will be shaved.
19 They will throw their silver into the streets, and their gold will seem unclean.
Their silver and gold cannot save them in the day of the WRATH of the LORD.
Ezekiel 7:8
Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee, and accomplish mine anger upon thee:
and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations.
Romans 1:19-25
19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.
24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
Luke 21:20-24
20 But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, you will know that her desolation is near.
21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country stay out of the city.
22 For these are the days of vengeance, to fulfill all that is written.
23 How miserable those days will be for pregnant and nursing mothers!
For there will be great distress upon the land and wrath against this people.
24 They will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive into all the nations.
And Jerusalem will be trodden down by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled
Isaiah 29
Woe to Ariel, to Ariel, the city where David dwelt! add ye year to year; let them kill sacrifices.
2 Yet I will distress Ariel, and there shall be heaviness and sorrow: and it shall be unto me as Ariel.
3 And I will camp against thee round about, and will lay siege against thee with a mount, and I will raise forts against thee.
4 And thou shalt be brought down, and shalt speak out of the ground, and thy speech shall be low out of the dust,
and thy voice shall be, as of one that hath a familiar spirit, out of the ground, and thy speech shall whisper out of the dust.
5 Moreover the multitude of thy strangers shall be like small dust, and the multitude of the terrible ones shall be as chaff that passeth away: yea, it shall be at an instant suddenly.
6 Thou shalt be visited of the Lord of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.
Daniel 12:4
But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end:
many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
6 “How long until the fulfillment of these wonders?”
7 And the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by Him who lives forever,
saying,
“It will be for a time, and times, and half a time. When the power of the holy people has finally been shattered,
ALL THESE THINGS WILL BE COMPLEATED.”
11 And from the time the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation set up,
there will be 1,290 days.
12 Blessed is he who waits and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.
Revelation 51
Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals.
2 And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?”
3 But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it.
4 I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside.
5 Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah,
the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”
12 In a loud voice they were saying: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and praise!”
Daniel 7:11
I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.
12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.
13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages,
should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
John 5:19
So Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing by Himself, unless He sees the Father doing it. For whatever the Father does, the Son also does
.20 The Father loves the Son and shows Him all He does. And to your amazement, He will show Him even greater works than these.
21 For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom He wishes.
22 Furthermore, the Father judges no one, but has assigned all judgment to the Son,
23 so that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him
24 Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment. Indeed, he has crossed over from death to life.
25 Truly, truly, I tell you, the hour is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.
26 For as the Father has life in Himself, so also He has granted the Son to have life in Himself.
27 And He has given Him authority to execute judgment, because He is the Son of Man.
28 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming when all who are in their graves will hear His voice
29 and come out—those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.30 I can do nothing by Myself; I judge only as I hear.
And My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
31 If I testify about Myself, My testimony is not valid.
32 There is another who testifies about Me, and I know that His testimony about Me is valid.
33 You have sent to John, and he has testified to the truth.
34 Even though I do not accept human testimony, I say these things so that you may be saved
35 John was a lamp that burned and gave light, and you were willing for a season to bask in his light.
36 But I have testimony more substantial than that of John. For the works that the Father has given Me to accomplish—the very works I am doing—testify about Me that the Father has sent Me.
37 And the Father who sent Me has Himself testified about Me. You have never heard His voice nor seen His form,
38 nor does His word abide in you, because you do not believe the One He sent.
Matthew 26:11
And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, he said unto his disciples,
2 Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.
3 Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,
4 And consulted that they might take Jesus by subtilty, and kill him.Luke 19:41-44
41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,
42 Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
43 For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,
44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation
Luke 4:41
Moreover, demons came out of many people, shouting, “You are the Son of God!”
But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew he was the Messiah.
Galatians 55
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
7 Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?
8 This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you.
9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
10 I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.
11 And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.
12 I would they were even cut off which trouble you.
13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another
Colossians 3:11
Therefore, since you have been raised with Christ, strive for the things above,
where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
4 When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory
.5 Put to death, therefore, the components of your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires, and greed, which is idolatry.
6 Because of these, the wrath of God is coming on the sons of disobedience.
7 When you lived among them, you also used to walk in these ways.
8 But now you must put aside all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips
.9 Do not lie to one another, since you have taken off the old self with its practices,10 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.
11 Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, or free, but Christ is all and is in all.
12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with hearts of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.
13 Bear with one another and forgive any complaint you may have against someone else.
Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
14 And over all these virtues put on love, which is the bond of perfect unity.
15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, for to this you were called as members of one body. And be thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom,
and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.
17 And whatever you do, in word or deed,
do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
1 John 2:1
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin,
we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments
.4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
7 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning.
The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.
8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.
9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.
11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.
12 I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake
13 I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning.
I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father.
14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning.
I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come,
even now are there many antichrists;
whereby we know that it is the last time. It's not the star of David it is the star of Remphan
