Vintage Style Water Well With Bucket

I used a backhoe to dig about a 10' pit mostly through clay, then sunk a verticle 24" culvert after drilling holes all through it to allow water to enter. Then I backfilled with clean gravel from a nearby river bar and built a structure over the culvert whereby I could lower and raise a bucket on a rope to retrieve water.
We live off-grid and have a decent amount of property surrounded by lots of Crown land and so we built a log cabin a ways off and this well is a good addition to supplement being there.
