I BROKE my Hay Cutter, Time to FIX my Hay cutter! (Hydraulic line Custom BUILD John Deere 1219)

It was fully my fault. I WRAPPED my hydro line around my PTO shaft and SHREDED IT!!

Ok, so it WAS in need of replacement anyway, but still . . .

While finishing the last few tuffs of grass in a neighbor's field, I hit a few bumps and threw the line into my spinning pto, causing it to rip it apart. While the replacement is pretty straight forward, it proves forbidding for me as I add yet ANOTHER skill to my toolbelt!

The replacement 3/8" line for the John Deere 1219 runs approx. $350 through John Deere (the ONLY place I found online to sell them). You CAN have a line custom made for you by a hydraulic shop (I found out AFTERWARD that there IS such a shop just a few miles down th road from me . . .), or you can build one yourself!

***PLEASE NOTE**** You do NOT need to prime your hydro lines (fill with fluid) prior to attaching. Your tractor will do this for you when you connect it.
