I'm All Out of F#@ks to Give

I have no care or concern left for things other than what affects me and my circle of friends and family directly.

I'm not sure how it happened, but I'm just not interested in things that don't directly affect me anymore. I don't care about politics, the environment, or even something as personal as the state of our health care system. It's not that I don't care—I do! But I can only devote so much time and energy to caring about things that aren't related to my friends and family.

I know this is selfish, but it's also honest. We all have limited resources for caring about others—and if we don't use them wisely, there won't be anything left to give when someone close to us needs us most. That's why I've decided to focus on what matters most: myself and those closest to me.
