Is the United States a friend in need for European countries? As the energy crisis tightens its grip on Europe, efforts to find alternatives to Russian energy are not as easy as promised. German and French political figures have made their displeasure public, while U.S. companies are raking in record revenues. Who is profiteering from the energy crisis? Why are "friends" not so friendly in times of need?
