Cumnor - Picturesque "English Village" nestled in the rolling hills of the English Countryside

Cumnor, a village, a township, and a parish, in Berks. The village stands on the brow of a hill.

St Michael's Church, parts of which date from the 12th century, stands in the centre of the village.. This church has much of interest. It is a fine example of an almost complete Norman church (with some later additions), particularly the very solid looking tower.

Cumnor has two public houses, the Vine and the Bear and Ragged Staff. It has a butcher, a hairdresser, a sub-post office and greengrocer and a complementary health clinic.
